In this series of posts, we'll be hooking you up with all the most gram worthy locations - first up, Camera Obscura at the Cliff House.
Like most budding bloggers, I have a long list of places I'd love to check out. San Francisco has been working it's way to the top of my list since United Airlines announced it was resuming direct flights from Auckland late last year. Living in New Zealand is dreamy (especially during a good summer) but the cost of flying can sometimes be a little limiting. Any competition between the main airlines means deals...and the prospect of a dreamy holiday !
I don't know about you, but when I start dreaming up a holiday, I'm always looking for something a little different. I know the rules 'if you don't post pictures did you even go on holiday', but rather than recreating that exact same golden gate bridge photo that everyone has, I figured I'd have a hunt for something unique. Combining my love of weird nostalgia, the sea and highly gram-able buildings, I stumbled across the Camera Obscura at The Cliff House. The giant camera is the last remaining building from Playland, a turn of the century seaside amusement park from that closed in 1972.
Have you been to San Francisco ? Is there something secret you'd rate as unmissable ? Let's pack our bags and get going !
